“ESPRIT DIOR” Tokyo Exhibition

2014年10月30日より1月4日まで、エキシビション『エスプリディオール – ディオールの世界』が開催！昨日、一足先に潜入しました〜とっても素敵な空間よ★ Du 30 octobre jusqu’au 4 janvier, l’exposition «Esprit Dior» s’installe à Tokyo Ginza. Je vous conseille de la visiter car c’est un bel espace et l’entrée est gratuite!

去年上海で行われたこのエキシビションは今年銀座へとやって来た！アーカイブドレス、フレグランス、バッグ、写真、映像を通して、クリスチャン・ディオールの時代から後継者ラフ・シモンズによって受け継がれた現在までのディオールの歴史を一挙公開！会場は4階構造からなっており見応えあり。
Last year, this exhibition was in Shanghai, but this year, it’s in Ginza Tokyo! This exhibition reveals dress archives, fragrance, bag, photos and video, and it explains the history from M. Christian Dior to Raf Simons ! This exhibition is displayed on 4 floors but it’s a pleasure to visit it.

展示物は「クリスチャン・ディオール」「アリュールディオール」「ジャドール」「パリ」「ディオールのガーデン」「ミスディオール」など12個のテーマに分けられている。では、いくつかご紹介しよう。（下の写真は「ディオールと芸術家たち」）
Also, the exhibition is divided into twelve themes like “Christian Dior” “Allure Dior” “J’adore” “Paris” “le jardin Dior” “Miss Dior” etc….. So I’m going to introduce some themes that I liked the most. (↓photo from “Dior et ses amis artistes”)

まず気になったのは「ディオールのアトリエ」、モンテーニュ通り30番地にあるアトリエ2つの紹介。

At first, I checked “les ateliers Dior”. It explains two ateliers which we can find avenue Montaigne, in Paris.

この日は、実際にアトリエで働く職人達が伝統的な技術のデモンストレーションを見せてくれた。彼女達は何をしている？

On this day, craftsmen who actually work in the studio showed me a demonstration of traditional technology. What they are doing?

パタンナーの作業。オートクチュールに”サイズ”なんて存在しないんだから、クライアントにサロンに来ていただいて、寸法をはかって1ピース1ピース手作業で完成させていく。この作業は表には出ない地味なことだけどこうやって美しいドレスが生まれるのよ。写真はドレス、ジャケット、コートのトワル。

こちらは、フレグランスの仕上げにとりかかっている2人。

瓶に付いてるリボンって手作業でつけていたのね。

I didn’t know that they put ribbon on the bottle by hand.

マリリン・モンローが1962年に身につけていたデザインに着想を得て特別創作、ブラックシルクファイユのロングドレスや、2013年アカデミー賞受賞式にジェニファー・ローレンスが着用したシルクのビスチェドレスを見ることができる「ディオールを纏ったスターたち」

In “stars en Dior”, we can find some archives of dresses from stars.. (Photo↓ Special creation inspired by a design worn by Marilyn Monroe in 1962 (Long silk famille evening gown) and Pale pink and white silk bustier ball dress worn by Jennifer Lawrence for the 2013 Academy Awards.)
